When I wrote about how to bring your bag on rides in Disney World, I told the story of that time I lost my favorite baseball hat on Primeval Whirl in Animal Kingdom and never got it back.
Back then, Animal Kingdom didn’t have its own Lost and Found. My brother and I had to make our way to the Transportation and Ticket Center on our last day of vacation, but they didn’t have my hat. May it RIP.
Today, there are a ton of Lost and Found locations around Disney World property. I’m going to cover where they are in the four main parks. If you’re looking for Lost and Found at a water park or Disney resort, you can visit this guest services page.
There’s one Lost and Found location in each of the four main parks. Let’s go over where each one is, how to find your way there using the My Disney Experience app and how to submit a Lost and Found form online through the Disney website.
Where is Lost and Found in Magic Kingdom?
Lost and Found in the Magic Kingdom is in Town Square, which is the area of the park that you enter right after walking through the main gate and under the train station. (For a more thorough explanation of this section and Main Street, check out our Grownups Guide to Main Street at the Magic Kingdom.)
After entering the park, you’ll find Lost and Found on your left, in City Hall.
Where is Lost and Found in Epcot?
After entering Epcot and passing underneath Spaceship Earth (the Epcot ball), there will be a big building on your left. This is where Connections Eatery and Cafe are located; it’s also where you can find Guest Relations, which includes Lost and Found.
Where is Lost and Found in Hollywood Studios?
Lost and Found in Hollywood Studios can be found right after you enter the park through the MagicBand scanners. In front of you will be the circular Crossroads of the World merch stand with a tall structure that has Mickey standing on top. Almost directly across from that, to the right, is a guest services building that includes Lost and Found.
Where is Lost and Found in Animal Kingdom?
Like the other Disney parks, Animal Kingdom’s Lost and Found is also right after the park entrance. On your left will be the Guest Relations building, which is where Lost and Found services are located.
How To Find Lost and Found Services With the My Disney Experience App
If you’re in one of the Disney parks and need to make your way to Lost and Found, you can use the My Disney Experience app to point you in the right direction. There are two ways to do this.
Option 1: Find the Lost and Found location pin on the Disney World map
Open the My Disney Experience app.
Starting typing “lost and found” in the Search Bar. Click the Lost and Found result.
Select Find on Map.
The first thing you’ll see is a map of Disney World. It’ll look like this:
Start zooming in over the park you’re in. You’ll see a white location pin for Lost and Found.
Option 2: Get walking directions to a specific Lost and Found location
Open the My Disney Experience app.
Starting typing “lost and found” in the Search Bar. Click the Lost and Found result.
Select Get Directions.
Select the correct Lost and Found location.
Your starting location should auto-populate for you, but you may also be able to enter it manually and then select the right GPS location.
You’ll see a map with the path highlighted that goes from your location to Lost and Found. For detailed instructions, click See Walking Directions.
You’ll see step-by-step walking directions to Lost and Found. You should also be able to see the directions live as you walk, since you’ll be in the park while you do this.
Submitting a Lost and Found Form Online
If you can’t get to a Lost and Found location or if they don’t have your item, you can submit a Lost and Found form online here. You’ll answer a few questions, like where you lost your item, what you lost and when you lost it. You’ll also fill out your contact info before submitting the form.
You’ll be emailed a claim number, and within 48 hours, you should receive an update on your missing item.
