This article answers the question, “How many Epcot rides are there?” to help you plan your day at Disney’s most adult-friendly park.
Epcot is one of the best Disney Parks for kid-free couples who want to treat themselves to one (or several) multicultural adult beverages in the World Showcase — code name: Drinking Around the World.
And if that’s not your style, you may be pleased to learn that Epcot is also a great place to shop for unique Disney Parks merch you can’t find at bigger stores like World of Disney. Oh, and Epcot is also one of the best places at Walt Disney World to hop on rides!
But how many Epcot rides are there, you may be asking? Not counting films, live performances, and Audio-Animatronic showcases (such as The American Adventure), there are a total of 11 rides at Epcot.
Some of these attractions are great for the whole family, while others are catered toward adults and thrill-seekers. Let’s go over all of them.

How many rides are at Epcot? Here’s a list of all 11 rides you’ll be able to find in the four sub-sections of the park (World Celebration, World Discovery, World Nature, and World Showcase):
- Frozen Ever After
- Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
- Journey Into Imagination With Figment
- Living with the Land
- Mission: SPACE
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
- Soarin’ Around the World
- Spaceship Earth
- Test Track
- The Seas with Nemo and Friends
Next, we’ll go over exactly what parts of the park you’ll be able to find these rides in.
Back in October 2021, Disney abandoned its long-standing, dual-section Epcot layout, recycling the Future World part of the park into three unique lands (Worlds Celebration, Discovery, and Nature) while still hanging onto the World Showcase handle as the umbrella for the individual country pavilions.
Epcot Rides in World Celebration
There are two rides in World Celebration: Spaceship Earth and Journey Into Imagination With Figment.
World Celebration is also one of our favorite places in all of Epcot. It’s where you’ll find CommuniCore Hall, the Creations Shop (one of our go-to Disney merch spots), and Dreamer’s Point, which features a statue of the man, the myth, the legend: Walt Disney.

Epcot Rides in World Discovery
You’ll find three rides in the World Discovery section of Epcot: Mission: SPACE, Test Track, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, the last of which is technically part of its own pavilion called Wonders of Xandar.
World Discovery is also where you’ll find the super-hard-to-get-into (we’ve tried several times) Space 220 bar and restaurant, located right next door to Mission: SPACE.
Epcot Rides in World Nature
World Nature is one of the more attraction-laden sections of Epcot. Here, you’ll find three rides to hop on: Soarin’ Around the World, Living with the Land, and The Seas with Nemo and Friends.

This part of the park is split into three main sub-sections (why all the fragmentation, Disney?) that include The Land, The Seas, and Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. You’ll also find a couple of restaurants and a pretty great aquarium here.

Epcot Rides in the World Showcase
The final section of Epcot is World Showcase, a name that has thankfully stuck around — can you imagine every country having a unique “World” label? But even with the myriad of cross-global destinations to choose from, this entire section of the park features just three rides: Frozen Ever After, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros.
Each country pavilion is also packed to the brim with excellent shops, restaurants, and live performances. Plus, the World Showcase is home to Epcot’s nighttime fireworks show called Luminous: The Symphony of Us.

What Are the Best Epcot Rides?
The answer to this question depends on what kind of Epcot experience you’re looking to have.
⭐️ Regardless of your intent, though, it’s hard to pass up a classic attraction like Spaceship Earth. Not only is the towering geosphere forever seared into our Disney-loving brains as one of Walt Disney World’s four park icons, but it’s also an opening-day attraction that traces the history of communication through Audio-Animatronics with narration by Dame Judi Dench. This is definitely one of the best Epcot rides for first-time visitors, as well as a celebrated fan-favorite.
⭐️ If you want to kick things up a notch in terms of adrenaline, Soarin’ Around the World is a lovely middle-ground between an attraction like Spaceship Earth and our next pick. The ride vehicles really make you feel like you’re high up in the air, with gentle 4D effects like wind and the smell of fragrant grass during the Africa flyover.
⭐️ For the biggest thrill of all, we highly recommend Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Featuring a fast reverse launch into a dizzying world of coaster-in-the-dark madness, set against one of six amazing retro songs, you’ll be hard-pressed to find any ride that gets everything as right as GOTG does!
⭐️ We also think Living with the Land is a bit of a sleeper hit, though we can see why this ride might not be for everyone (heavy educational angle meets a 20-minute, slow-moving boat ride).
Wrapping Up

While Epcot may not have as many rides as Magic Kingdom, it’s an absolute must-visit park for us on every Disney trip we take. Not long ago, we had the opportunity to spend one day at Walt Disney World while driving down to Fort Lauderdale, and we decided to spend this one and only Disney day in the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. It’s just that good.
